tu tuesday-late

It’s Tuesday!  And, that means it is a "TU TUESDAY".  Go to http://www.timesunion.com/ and choose an article from a category that interests you - sports, entertainment, news, technology, etc. by a journalist that you can find out some background information on (I would make sure you can find the background information before you read the article - most journalists who also blog have a section on their blog that has background information on him/her).  Then, read the article (completely and thoroughly and thoughtfully) and put the link to the article and a link the background information on him/her on your blog and do the following:
(1) read a brief biography about him/her; (2)  read the article (completely and thoroughly and thoughtfully); (3) write a summary of what you learned about the journalist (two direct quotes) and the topic of the article (two direct quotes) based on your reading; (4) cite specific examples in the form of FOUR direct quotes.  Call the blog by the journalist's name that you chose to find out more about.

Present information, findings, and supporting evidence clearly, concisely, and logically such that (readers) can follow your line of reasoning.  The organization, development, substance, and style should be appropriate to purpose, audience, and task.
